This session will include the following subject(s):

Towards better testing:

This session is intended to promote a more effective testing strategy for Neutron. The hallmarks of useful testing at both the unit and functional level will be presented. Emphasis will be placed on identifying unnecessary test complexity (with examples) and determining whether it is an indication of poor testability or that the testing need be performed at a different level of abstraction.

Once the theoretical groundwork has been laid, strategies will be discussed for refactoring our existing test suite to reduce its execution time and increase its usefulness. The specifics of writing functional tests (especially of system interaction) will also be discussed.

(Session proposed by Maru Newby)

Neutron QA and testing during Juno cycle:

In the session, the Neutron and QA core teams will come to an agreement on the testing to be developed during the Juno cycle
