A More Pluggable External Network:

This session will discuss refactoring the Neutron code around plugging in to an external network. I propose introducing a new interface with multiple implementations to allow using different models to connect Neutron routers to an external network.

These new connection models could help to save public IPv4 addresses that are currently wasted on infrastructure. They could also provide more flexibility to scale networks and float floating IPs more freely.

We will discuss how to transition from the current model to new models in an existing installation.
